About the FDP: This FDP is designed to provide participants with deeper insights into Indian architectural treatises, focusing on unveiling varied understandings of Hindu temples, concept-meaning-form, and the evolution of temple architecture across Indian geography on Day 1. On Day 2, the program will explore the sacred landscapes and ecology that have sustained Indian civilization across centuries. Finally, on Day 3, participants will delve deeper into the science of Vastu Shastra and understand space from an Indian worldview. The program aims to enrich the knowledge base by drawing from ancient wisdom, fostering interdisciplinary learning, and encouraging the integration of these profound themes into academic curricula. By bridging traditional knowledge systems with modern pedagogical approaches, this FDP seeks to cultivate a holistic understanding of architecture and planning from an Indic perspective, exploring territories often overlooked in mainstream discourse.
